This article intends to reflect together on an academic-militant perspective derived from the researchers’ expertise to integrate intellectual support activities with organized social movements in situations of conflict. From the theoretical-methodological point of view, it starts from the historical, social and pedagogical understanding with which Edward Thompson interprets the formation of the class from the experiences lived in each dated and localized situation of struggle, which articulates with the importance of learning to listen and record the speech of the simple or ordinary man. Thus, as an emphasis or presupposition of these reflections, the human agency that experiences processes of subalternization in situations of dispute and / or confrontation with the appropriation of nature in the rural world - or of the definition of territorialities in the urban environment - is defined here as interest of this work the opening for recognition of new cuts and methodological tools. In this sense, the experience of land observatories in their current network construction process is presented, in order to broaden the discussion about the validity and feasibility of the articulation of researchers, extensionists and their work nucleos, always having as main focus the conflict situations.
