Based on the gender activities carried out, the NAP-Ag programme has developed a training guide on mainstreaming gender to support countries in their adaptation planning processes. This guide provides a complete set of materials to be used in training workshops on mainstreaming gender in adaptation planning in the agriculture sector, and is a valuable resource to turn gender goals into concrete action by improving the gender skills and knowledge of adaptation planners in the agriculture sector. In addition to the guide, there are PowerPoint templates to help trainers prepare learning sessions based on the guide.
So far, the guide has been used in the preparation of workshops for subnational planners in The Gambia (organized by the NAP Global Network) and national planners in Asia Pacific (hosted by the government of The Philippines and organized by the NDC Partnership).
