Land disputes remain a major source of tension, displacement, and instability, particularly in fragile and conflict-affected settings where institutions may be weak and land rights poorly documented. This webinar will examine how dispute resolution mechanisms can help prevent land-related conflicts from escalating and support more stable, trusted, and responsive land governance.

The discussion will look at how community institutions, formal governance systems, and hybrid approaches interact in practice. It will also explore the growing role of land information, conflict monitoring, and administrative data in supporting mediation, clarifying competing claims, and identifying emerging risks. Drawing on experiences from LAND-at-scale and other partners, the webinar will highlight how locally grounded mechanisms can connect with statutory systems and how these relationships are evolving in pastoral and post-conflict contexts.

Join on Thursday, April 16th from 15:00–16:30 CEST for the third webinar in the LAND-at-scale series on Land and Conflict. Register now.
