Women's grassroots role in disaster resilience and water-related health matters often goes "unseen." This brief explores how, in order to achieve water resilience, women's experience and meaningful leadership need to be scaled up to the national level. Without women’s input, SDG 5 and 6 targets (related to gender equality and water and sanitation) will be impossible to reach.
