Mike joined Global Witness in 2002, managing a team of undercover investigators in Cambodia. After moving back to London, he spent five years leading the campaign on the trade in conflict resources – blood diamonds, conflict minerals and more. Subsequent roles involved time in Asia, investigating the murky jade business in Myanmar, and advocating in China for businesses to respect human rights and the environment.
