Sudan is once again engulfed in a devastating civil war. The conflict, which began in the last ten days of Ramadan 2023, has now, after two years, engulfed the entire country — from Darfur and Khartoum to Kordofan. According to the United Nations, more than fifty thousand Sudanese civilians have been killed, over a million wounded or missing, and around fifteen million people displaced — many of whom have fled across borders into Chad, Egypt, and South Sudan.
