Kosovo: Youth Using the Environment and Social Cohesion as a Tools for Peacebuilding in Kosovo

On 23 January 2026, an official launch event was held at Europe House in Prishtina to present the findings and overall results of the project Environmental Peacebuilding in Kosovo: Youth-Led Research on Environment, Mental Wellbeing, and Social Cohesion. The event brought together around 30 participants, including youth representatives, institutional actors, civil society organizations, and other key stakeholders working in peacebuilding, environmental protection, and social cohesion.

The launch served as a platform to share the main research insights and to showcase the contribution of youth-led approaches to environmental peacebuilding in Kosovo. The study was implemented by SIT Center for Counselling, Social Services and Research, in partnership with and supported by Pro Peace Kosovo, as part of the project Strengthening Networks of Youth and NGOs for Peacebuilding and Resistance of Communities in Kosovo.
