STOOS Consulting seeks Sudan-based trainers and experts to deliver TVET, entrepreneurship, agriculture/livestock, VSLA, financial literacy, and market systems training that strengthens resilience and self-reliance for women, youth, farmers, and micro-enterprises.
Description of the Tasks
- Conduct needs assessments and market/value-chain appraisals in priority states.
- Localize Arabic curricula and practical toolkits (farmer field demos, enterprise SOPs, safety guides).
- Deliver field-based trainings and on-site coaching (farms, workshops, cooperatives).
- Establish/strengthen VSLAs (governance, savings/loan cycles, crisis-response).
- Integrate climate adaptation/DRR into livelihoods and agribusiness practices.
- Facilitate market linkages (buyers, input suppliers, service providers) and finance access.
- Apply pre/post tests, competency checks, and learning analytics.
- Produce structured reports with action plans, risks, and coordination asks for partners.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Residence in Sudan; Arabic fluency.
- Degree/TVET in Business, Agriculture, Livestock, Economics, Finance, TVET or related.
- 5+ years designing/delivering livelihoods/TVET/enterprise training and mentorship.
- Strong adult-learning, community engagement, and safeguarding/CHS application.
- Experience with rural delivery, low-infrastructure logistics, and conflict-sensitive approaches.
- Proficiency in MEL/reporting and partner coordination (NGOs/INGOs/private sector).
