Anthony Cole, former Land Administrator of the Zena Estate, has accused Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) John Kermue of the Liberia National Police (LNP) of threatening his life over a disputed parcel of land located along the GSA Road in Paynesville.

Cole made the allegation during a media engagement held on January 2, 2026, claiming that ACP Kermue issued death threats in connection with a property which, according to him, the senior police officer does not legally own. Cole insisted that Kermue has no valid title or deed to the land in question.
