Mirali Shukla is an interdisciplinary researcher, journalist, and photographer working at the intersection of conservation science, policy and storytelling. Her work focuses on the environmental and cultural narratives that inform decision-making, support community-led environmental peacebuilding and biocultural conservation. She has led and contributed to projects across Southeast Asia, Africa, Europe, and North America, collaborating with NGOs, policymakers, Indigenous communities, and research institutions. Through writing, photography and research, her work bridges research, policy, and public engagement, aiming to drive measurable impact.
