Geoff Dabelko is a Professor at the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service at Ohio University. His research and practice work focuses on climate and security, environmental peacebuilding, and Age-Friendly, climate resilient communities. From 1997-2012, he served as director of the Woodrow Wilson Center’s Environmental Change and Security Program. He was a chapter author on the 5th Assessment of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and the Fifth National Climate Assessment. He is co-editor of Green Planet Blues: Critical Perspectives on Global Environmental Politics and Environmental Peacemaking. He holds an AB in Political Science from Duke University and Ph.D. in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
