Beatriz Arnal Calvo is a feminist, pacifist and environmental activist-researcher. A University of Brighton-funded Doctoral Researcher in Peace and Pacifism, she is also a member of the University of Brighton’s Centre of Applied Philosophy, Politics and Ethics and the Centre of Spatial, Environmental and Cultural Politics. Hers is a policy-oriented, activism-based research at the intersection of environmental humanities, climate ethics and politics, and feminist pacifism. She is also an active member of the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom. Prior to joining the University of Brighton, Beatriz was an aid practitioner in settings of armed conflict and forced displacement.
