Ann Le is a PhD Candidate in the School of Social Ecology at the University of California, Irvine. Prior to her doctoral studies, Ann served as a Sustainable Agriculture Extension Agent with the United States Peace Corps and, subsequently, through grant funding from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), led projects aimed at reducing market entry barriers for female small-holder farmers in rural Senegal. During her time at UCI, Ann was nominated to serve as research fellow for CARE International’s Food and Water Systems Solutions Division. Her current research examines how cultural integration and technological inclusion can reduce entry barriers for communities in accessing pathways for sustained peace and resilience.
