Maryruth Belsey Priebe is Co-Founder and COO of aXXelerate Inc., a women-owned consulting firm specializing in Women, Peace and Security. She serves as Co-Chair of the Environmental Peacebuilding Association's Gender Interest Group and holds a Master's from Harvard University, where her thesis proposed a feminist framework for analyzing gendered climate insecurities and opportunities. Her research explores gender dimensions of environmental degradation, resource governance, and conflict, with publications examining civil-military climate security cooperation, disaster risk reduction, and women's roles in environmental peacebuilding. She has presented internationally on integrating gender perspectives into environmental security policy and practice.
