Agenda
Following is the detailed agenda, including session abstracts, for the Fourth International Conference on Environmental Peacebuilding. A free Virtual Day takes place on June 9, followed by the in-person conference at the University of Ottawa from June 16-19, 2026.
Navigate below to view the detailed agenda by date for both the Virtual Day and in-person conference. An overview of the agenda overview of the agenda can be download here (as of 12JUNE2026). Please note that this overview does not list room assignments.
The full conference brochure -- with agenda, logistics, and other information -- can be downloaded here (15MB). Please note that this version (13JUNE2026) includes updated room assignments.
Please note, that if you have registered for the Virtual Day, you will need to sign up for the particular sessions you wish to attend to receive the Zoom webinar link. To do so, click on the link for each session and sign up accordingly.
For the in-person portion of the conference, while most sessions are open for all to attend, some sessions indicate “sign-up required.” Only confirmed conference participants can sign up. To sign up for a capacity-limited session, please:
(1) log in to www.environmentalpeacebuilding.org [If you are not signed in, you will not see the options to sign up]
(2) go to this page (agenda)
(3) scan the agenda to see which sessions you want to sign up for
(4) click on "sign up" [If you click on it, you may not receive a confirmation; if, however, you go back and you no longer have the option of signing up that means that you are indeed signed up.]
Please note that you can sign up for only three capacity-limited sessions. And once you sign up, you cannot change your un-sign-up without Secretariat assistance.
If you would like to keep track of the sessions you attend – or review one you can't at a later date – you can click "add to your watch list" on the session's description page. As you add sessions, they will appear in the "My Watch List" page under the conference menu.
