Diego Osorio is a climate security and environmental peacebuilding practitioner–scholar with nearly three decades of experience working at the intersection of climate change, conflict, and governance in fragile and conflict-affected contexts. He is Co-Chair of the Education Working Group of the Environmental Peacebuilding Association (EnPAx) and an Adjunct Professor at ENAP (Québec), Université Laval, École 3A (Lyon), and Bishop’s University. He was a Visiting Professor in 2024 at the U.S. National Defense University and a 2023–2024 Fellow at Harvard University’s Weatherhead Center for International Affairs. His work spans senior roles with the UN, World Bank, NATO, and the Government of Canada, and his current research focuses on climate security, environmental peacebuilding, and complexity science. He is also a PhD candidate at Utrecht University, based in Montreal, Canada.
